al -- i wish i had one more chance to give you a hug & say 'i love you.'  we miss you so, so much.  the weeks & months keep going by & sometimes i'm afraid i won't remember you.  every time i have a question about something in the house i think 'oh, i should call al & get some advice.'  the world is colder & lonelier without you here.

al -- it has been unusually warm for january in wisconsin, so believe it or not, there are harleys around.  every time i hear one come down our street, i think, just for a second, that it's you.  oh, if only it were . . . 

we miss you so much there are no words for it.  this has been one of hardest things i've ever been through.  part of me still can't really take it in.  i don't know if i will ever be at peace with it or if it will ever make sense.

it's new year's eve & we're thinking of you.  thanks again for all the times you jump started my car or picked me up somewhere or dropped me off somewhere else.  

we miss you every minute of every day.  it is really, really touching to see how many people have contributed things to your website.  in the middle of their own pain, they are thinking of someone else.  

please keep an eye on the packers tonight & the badgers tomorrow.  here's a great big hug {AL} until we see you again.  i will toast you tonight (but it won't be midnight because that's too late :-)

I Know how the heart can hurt sometimes. I lost my Matthew to a murderer. He was 17.  Take time for yourself. And we will always remember our loved ones.
