Merry Christmas Dad!  Another holiday without you.  Grandpa came over on Christmas Eve for the first time since we've been at the house, and he said it was weird to be there without you.  I know how he feels.  We all miss you and wish you were here and miss you everyday.

Missing you!  / Season (Daughter)
Well Dad...it's our first Christmas in our "new" house.  The house that you should be celebrating in, the house that we should be coming to visit you in, not the house that I should be living in.  Days vary, some days are okay and others it just hits me like a ton of bricks that you're not here anymore and you won't be coming back.  Then panic mode sets in and I feel my chest tightening up and feel like I'm starting to panic.  I'm only 25, how am I going to go on for the rest of my life knowing that I will never see you again?  People say it gets easier, but I don't think it does.  When something so tragic and life changing happens, how can it ever get "better"?

There was a big blizzard last week. I stayed home with Mom and talked for hours. We started talking about you. I cried so hard and all I could say was "I miss him so much".  I'm still not used to you not being here. The holidays are especially hard. I think about all the times we had, putting up the tree and decorating it. The thing that scares me the most is forgetting those times. I never want to forget. I love you and miss you with all my heart. Send me an angelt Daddy!

Season you made a beautiful site for your Dad. It is just beautiful. He would be so proud of you. I think the thing he would be most proud of is the fact that he raised a daughter that loved him so much that you had the determination and strength in going on with your wedding.
